
Helloooo!!! Long time no see guys, How are you? i hope you guys doing fine. So now, i am gonna talking about another Indonesian Food again. Could you see the image above us? Yesss, that’s it. That is the food that we’re gonna talk. Lontong Cap Go Meh is a cuisine adaptation of Indonesian Chinese peranakan to Indonesian cuisine, specifically Javanese cuisine. This dish consists of rice cake served with chicken chips, vegetable lodeh, fried fried chili sauce, pickles, boiled eggs, shredded beef, koya powder, sambal, and crackers. Basically, Lontong Cap Go Meh is Lontong served with chicken opor, vegetable lodeh, fried fried chili sauce, eggshells, koya powder, chili sauce, and crackers. Some of you guys must be don’t know what ‘Lontong’ is, Lontong is a typical Indonesian food that develops in Javanese society, made from rice wrapped in banana leaves and steamed over boiling water for several hours and if the water is almost used up it is poured again and again for several times.

These are some types/versions of Lontong cap Go Meh:
1. Original Lontong Cap Go Meh. It’s just a real Lontong Cap Go Meh.
2. Lontong Cap Go Meh Bersayur Lodeh. Lontong cap Go Meh with too much of vegetables soup.
3. Lontong Cap Go Meh with Gudeg Egg. It’s Lontong Cap Go Meh with some Indonesian Egg.
4. Ketupat Cap Go Meh. So it’s not with ‘lontong’ but with ‘ketupat’.
5. Lontong Opor Cap Go Meh. It’s the same with the original lontong cap go meh but it’s a little bit too much of Opor Ayam.
